Magdy Francis

As the Director to our Orange County office, Magdy will be responsible for managing operations for our Californian market. Prior to joining JBA Magdy operated his own engineering practice for the last 18 years. His 30 years of experience in the engineering industry includes system studies, power distribution, pump stations, water treatment plants, desalination plants, co-generation, short circuit and coordination studies, design and analysis projects for industrial facilities, and institutional and commercial projects. His diverse project experience includes clients such as Disney Resorts, Los Angeles Unified and Long Beach School Districts, Washington Mutual, Bank of America, Boeing, Kaiser Permanente, San Diego Naval Station, and the port of Los Angeles.

Magdy is licensed in California, Arizona, Nevada and Washington. He is a member of the Industry Application Society of Los Angeles, the Industry Application and Power Engineering Society of Orange County, the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), and a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
