Brad Geinzer

Brad has more than 18 years of experience, 13 of which he has spent as a JBA Team Member, as well as Principal of the firm for 11 years. He served as the principal project manager and mechanical engineer of record for a wide range of projects. He specializes in technical and complex designs including large multi-use facilities, specialty theater venues and high-rise smoke management systems. His experience in facility conceptual design master planning, complex building system infrastructure planning and central utility plant design is extensive and extends over a broad range of project types. Serving as a cross-discipline project manager has provided him a broad based knowledge of building services, system integration and the associated impact to building architecture and life safety. He is recognized as an approved Quality Assurance Testing agent for confirming the installation and operation of the smoke management systems for buildings, and is registered as a professional engineer in 13 states.

Mr. Geinzer was the recipient of the Southern Nevada ASHRAE’s Engineer of the Year Award for both 2002 and 2003. He is the past president of the Southern Nevada Chapter of ASHRAE and the Southern Nevada Chapter of SFPE. He also serves on the Nevada State Board of Fire Services and the advisory board for the UNLV Entertainment Engineering program.
